I know the "Jungle Room" thanks to Marc
Cohn's 1991 song
"Walking In Memphis" ("there's a pretty
little thing, waiting for the King, down in the Jungle Room"). The room
includes a water-fall, plush carpeting, and a Hawaiian motif, inspired directly
from Elvis' travels to the Hawaiian islands. Towards the end of his
career, he tried to record songs from this room.
