On July 25, 1999, Jenn and I visited Graceland, the home that Elvis Presley lived in for almost 20 years. I snapped pictures at every opportunity.I admit to being a non-Elvis fan prior to my trip. Of course I had heard some of his music ( "Heartbreak Hotel", "Don't Be Cruel" ), but my trip to Memphis, Tennessee, and Graceland quickly immersed me into the Elvis Presley "culture". I would soon be hooked.

All of the pictures on these web pages were taken with my Olympus D600-L. I did not use my flash at all. All the photos are JPEGs, cropped and touched up using Paint Shop Pro . It took four evenings to put this site together. The navigation links were created with a Perl 5 script. These HTML files were created and edited using GVIM, a text editor normally found on UNIX machines. I listened to nothing but the King during the creation of these pages. TCB!
